At The Vermeat Company, we are committed to providing you with the highest-quality grass-fed beef from family-owned Vermont farms. We take great care in packaging and shipping our products to ensure they arrive in excellent condition. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we have a comprehensive refund policy to address any issues that may arise.

  1. Refund for Quality Concerns: If you are unsatisfied with the quality of the beef you receive, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving your order. We may ask for specific details and photos of the product to better understand the issue. Depending on the circumstances, we will either provide a refund or offer a replacement for the affected product.

  2. Refund for Damaged Packaging: In the rare event that the packaging is damaged during shipment, leading to premature defrosting or potential food spoilage, please contact our customer service team immediately. We may request photos of the damaged packaging to file a claim with the shipping carrier. We will promptly issue a refund or send a replacement for the affected items.

  3. Food Safety and Liability: The Vermeat Company adheres to strict food safety practices to prevent any foodborne illnesses. However, if you believe that our product has caused a foodborne illness, please contact us immediately. We take such incidents very seriously and will conduct a thorough investigation. We may ask for medical documentation as evidence. If our product is found to be the cause of the illness, we will issue a full refund.

  4. Returns and Refunds: Returns of our perishable food products are not accepted due to safety and health concerns. However, if you have a valid reason for a refund request, please contact our customer service team with proof of the issue, such as photos or a description of the problem. We will assess each situation individually and, if appropriate, provide a refund for the affected product.

  5. Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment used during the purchase. Please allow up to 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution.
